Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused Staff Crew members to join our fast‑growing kebab outlet network in Surabaya. The role is based in high‑traffic shopping centres such as BG Junction, Royal Plaza, Plaza Surabaya, and Pakuwon City Mall. As a frontline ambassador, you will deliver a memorable dining experience, uphold our brand standards, and support the daily operations of a busy food‑and‑beverage (F&B) environment.
The position offers a full‑time schedule (08:00‑17:00) with the flexibility to work weekends and national holidays. Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm smile, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Explain menu items, ongoing promotions, and recommend kebab combinations tailored to individual preferences.
- Process dine‑in, take‑away, and delivery orders swiftly and accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit‑card, and digital‑payment transactions while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Address customer complaints or special requests with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude.
- Prepare raw ingredients (bread, meat, sauces, vegetables) according to standardized recipes and SOPs.
- Assemble or grill kebabs to meet quality, portion, and hygiene standards consistently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular sanitation of equipment and surfaces before, during, and after service.
- Adhere to personal hygiene protocols mandated by food safety regulations.
- Perform routine cleaning of the outlet, including floor sweeping, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance.
- Conduct daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to the supervisor.
- Monitor stock levels, record usage, and communicate replenishment needs to the manager.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, improve order throughput, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or supply shortages promptly to the supervisor.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, safety standards, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged 18‑27 years (all genders welcome for future openings).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced F&B setting, preferably in quick‑service or casual dining.
- Not currently enrolled in an academic program.
- Possession of a valid work certificate or reference letter (paklaring) from a previous employer.
- Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shift patterns as required.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the capacity to motivate peers and share best practices.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
