Introduction
We are a fast‑growing supplier of building‑material products, serving contractors, developers, and retail customers across the region. To support our expanding operations, we are looking for a dedicated Staf Operasional Gudang dan Logistik to join our warehouse team. This role is crucial for ensuring that materials move efficiently from suppliers to our customers while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and service.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of construction materials, ensuring quantities and quality match purchase orders.
- Manage inventory levels using our warehouse management system, performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders to customers, coordinating with drivers and external logistics partners to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas, adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Prepare and file all required documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and customs paperwork for cross‑border shipments.
- Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to minimize waste and ensure product freshness, especially for moisture‑sensitive building materials.
- Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan replenishment activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, suggest cost‑saving measures, and support the implementation of lean warehouse practices.
- Provide training and guidance to junior warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Report daily operational performance, including key metrics such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory variance.
Requirements
- Male candidates only (as per company policy).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably handling building‑material supplies.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of diligence, and a sense of responsibility.
- Excellent adaptability and quick learning skills to handle dynamic work environments.
- Basic computer literacy, especially with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
