Introduction

SM Raja is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer – Marketing to join our team in Kisaran. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence by promoting the company’s product portfolio to both existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will act as a trusted liaison between SM Raja, our distribution network, and end‑users, ensuring that sales targets are not only met but exceeded. Responsibilities

  • Proactively offer and present SM Raja’s range of products to existing customers and identify new prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Generate sales orders through various distribution channels, ensuring accurate data capture and timely follow‑up.
  • Collect and verify all required customer documentation, including credit applications, and assist customers in completing the paperwork.
  • Monitor the progress of credit applications, maintain constant communication with dealers and customers, and convey approval or rejection decisions promptly.
  • Inform customers about payment schedules, due dates, payment locations, and any other critical information that influences satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM system, recording interactions, order status, and follow‑up activities to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, product launches, and sales campaigns tailored to local market needs.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, feeding insights back to management.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Provide after‑sales support, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in any field.
  • Maximum age of 30 years; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer goods sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; skilled in negotiation and relationship building.
  • High integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Own reliable motor vehicle and a valid, active SIM A/C driving licence.
  • Proficient in sales management, customer relationship management, and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility to be placed according to domicile, with a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
