The role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a career in the laundry and inventory management industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment to ensure garments are processed according to quality standards.
- Sort, label, and organize incoming laundry items, maintaining accurate records for each client batch.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, report any malfunctions, and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Manage the storage and placement of cleaned items, ensuring proper placement on shelves, carts, or delivery trucks.
- Coordinate shift handovers, documenting completed tasks, pending items, and any special handling instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following hygiene protocols, conducting regular sanitation of workstations, and adhering to occupational safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide status updates on orders.
- Assist in inventory control by tracking supplies such as detergents, packaging materials, and cleaning agents, and placing re‑order requests when needed.
- Support team members during peak periods by taking on additional tasks such as loading/unloading delivery vehicles and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall service quality.
Requirements
- Female (berhijab) candidates are preferred.
- Single status is considered an advantage.
- Residence in Metro or surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Prior experience in laundry operations or related field is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work full‑time and adapt to rotating shift schedules.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting tasks.
