We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat SMA untuk Matematika to join our vibrant tutoring team in Bandar Lampung. The successful candidate will work closely with students aged 15‑18, delivering personalized instruction that aligns with the national curriculum and prepares learners for university entrance exams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customized lesson plans that address individual student needs and learning styles.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts—algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics—in clear, relatable terms.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and mock examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student performance, goals, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize a variety of teaching tools, including digital platforms, interactive worksheets, and real‑world problem‑solving activities.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and perseverance.
- Track attendance, manage scheduling, and coordinate lesson times for Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with pedagogical trends.
- Provide occasional homework support and exam preparation sessions outside regular tutoring hours, when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to the center’s policies and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) or final semester of university studies, preferably in Mathematics or Education.
- At least 1 year of proven experience teaching high‑school mathematics.
- Strong passion for teaching and a genuine love for working with adolescents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: patient, disciplined, creative, and highly responsible.
- Age limit: maximum 35 years.
- Residency in Bandar Lampung with reliable personal transportation.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging learning materials and adapt instruction to diverse learner profiles.
- Proficiency in using educational technology (e.g., Google Classroom, video conferencing tools).
