Responsibilities
- Precisely cut beef carcasses into a variety of retail‑ready portions according to company specifications and customer orders.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring that all cutting surfaces, tools, and work areas are sanitized before and after each shift.
- Operate and sharpen cutting equipment, including bandsaws, knives, and trimming tools, while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Accurately record inbound and outbound beef inventory, updating stock ledgers and digital inventory systems in real‑time.
- Conduct routine inventory checks to identify discrepancies, spoilage, or waste, and report findings to the warehouse supervisor.
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to customers purchasing meat at the outlet, answering product‑related questions and offering preparation tips.
- Assist in packaging finished cuts, ensuring proper labeling, weight verification, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the quality‑control team to perform visual inspections for defects, ensuring only premium cuts reach the market.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new cutting techniques, food‑safety updates, and equipment upgrades.
- Support team members during peak periods by helping with ancillary tasks such as unloading deliveries and organizing storage racks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18–25 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per operational safety guidelines).
- No prior professional experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 kg, and perform repetitive cutting motions safely.
- Basic numeracy skills for inventory tracking and stock counting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work a regular schedule of Monday to Saturday, 09:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
- Familiarity with meat‑cutting tools or a willingness to learn proper handling techniques.
