Introduction
The Staf PPIC – Perencanaan Produksi dan Kontrol Inventaris plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. This position is responsible for translating sales forecasts into actionable production plans, maintaining optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, and coordinating closely with purchasing, production, warehouse, and sales teams. Responsibilities
- Develop weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and current stock levels.
- Monitor and control the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies to prevent shortages.
- Generate purchase orders (PO) for raw materials and liaise with the purchasing department to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track work‑in‑process (WIP) and finished‑goods inventory, providing regular updates to production supervisors.
- Analyze production capacity versus demand, identifying bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports, including stock‑taking, aging stock analysis, and variance reconciliation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activities with production, warehouse, and sales teams to align priorities.
- Ensure that all warehouse operations follow FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) or FEFO (First‑Expired‑First‑Out) principles.
- Maintain and update Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data within the ERP system.
- Design and maintain dashboards and KPI reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) to support decision‑making.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field; D3 acceptable with relevant experience.
- Age: No strict upper limit, though candidates up to 30 years are preferred for this role.
- Professional experience: 1‑2 years of hands‑on PPIC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or chemical production.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and inventory‑specific formulas.
- Strong understanding of MRP concepts, safety stock calculations, lead times, and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle; ability to navigate and customize modules related to inventory and production.
- Demonstrated analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross‑departmental coordination.
- Additional assets: prior exposure to demand forecasting techniques and experience in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) or chemical manufacturing.
