Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a diligent Staf Penagihan (Remedial Officer) to join our collections team in Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. This role is critical in safeguarding the company’s assets by ensuring timely repayment of financed loans and, when necessary, managing the repossession process in accordance with legal and administrative standards. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal treasury staff, and warehouse personnel while representing the professional image of Adira.
Responsibilities
- Receive the daily visitation schedule and execute field visits efficiently within the assigned geographic area.
- Proactively remind borrowers of upcoming payment due dates, providing clear information on outstanding balances and payment options.
- Conduct collection activities for accounts delinquent between 1‑60 days, employing persuasive negotiation techniques while maintaining a courteous tone.
- When required, initiate the repossession of financed vehicles, ensuring all administrative paperwork is complete, valid, and complies with company policy and local regulations.
- Verify that any reclaimed vehicle is indeed a financed asset of Adira before proceeding with the takeover.
- Deliver collected cash to the designated teller and hand over seized vehicles to the warehouse, accompanied by all supporting documentation such as collection receipts, repossession reports, and condition checklists.
- Promote the use of the Adiraku mobile application to borrowers, guiding them through the payment process and highlighting its convenience and security features.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, update the CRM system with collection outcomes, and provide timely reports to the supervisory team.
- Collaborate with the credit risk department to identify high‑risk accounts and recommend preventive actions.
- Uphold confidentiality of customer data and adhere to all internal compliance standards throughout the collection cycle.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 preferred (any major). Candidates with a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Male candidates only; maximum age 29 years (some listings also allow up to 33 years).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in debt collection, loan servicing, or a related financial role.
- Active SIM C and personal motorbike for travel to customer locations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
- Excellent organizational abilities, time‑management, and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Basic proficiency with mobile applications and familiarity with the Adiraku platform is an advantage.
