Introduction
PT. Vivalavida Trading Indonesia is a dynamic e‑commerce retailer specializing in fashion, true wireless earbuds (TWS), and a variety of consumer products. To support our rapid growth and maintain rigorous financial controls, we are seeking a motivated Staff Accounting – Financial Reporting & General Ledger professional. This role will be based in our Balaraja office (Kabupaten Tangerang) and will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record all financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) ledgers, including preparation of monthly aging reports and monitoring of cash flow.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and coordinating with banks to resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit periodic tax filings, ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax law and internal policies.
- Compile sales and purchase data for traded goods, supporting inventory valuation and cost‑of‑goods‑sold calculations.
- Generate financial statements and management reports for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and variance analysis.
- Archive all financial documentation in a systematic, audit‑ready manner, adhering to both company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including sales, logistics, and IT—to streamline data flow and improve the accuracy of financial information.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Continuously seek process improvements, leveraging Excel automation, macro development, or other tools to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; D3/D4 is acceptable with relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in accounting, preferably within an e‑commerce or retail environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and basic VBA scripting.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and initiative; capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations (PPN, PPh) and basic understanding of financial reporting standards.
