Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Store Assistant – Customer Service and Inventory Support to join our dynamic retail team in the Jababeka and Karawang regions. This full‑time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy direct interaction with customers, and possess a keen eye for inventory accuracy. The role offers a structured schedule from 07:00 to 17:00 with shift flexibility, allowing you to develop both sales expertise and operational skills within a reputable organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers throughout their shopping journey, providing product knowledge, recommendations, and a courteous service experience.
  • Manage point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, including cash handling, electronic payments, and end‑of‑day reconciliation.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking merchandise, and ensuring promotional displays are attractive and up‑to‑date.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, record discrepancies, and coordinate with the warehouse team to replenish stock in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints with professionalism, escalating complex issues to the store manager when necessary.
  • Support the implementation of sales promotions, loyalty programs, and seasonal campaigns to drive foot traffic and increase average transaction value.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and maintaining a clean store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across shifts to ensure seamless handovers and consistent service quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or inventory management; prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and selling skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Valid SIM C driver’s license for occasional delivery or store‑related errands.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Gender: Open to all candidates.
  • Age: Must be 30 years old or younger.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS systems, Microsoft Office) and familiarity with retail software is an advantage.
