Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Supervisor Engineering Senior to join our dynamic hospitality team. This pivotal role is based within a leading hotel and resort environment, where you will oversee the technical integrity of our facilities, ensuring guests experience the highest standards of comfort and safety. Working alongside a skilled engineering crew, you will act as the bridge between operational needs and strategic maintenance planning, contributing directly to the overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency of the property.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of junior engineers and maintenance technicians, providing coaching, performance feedback, and schedule coordination.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with the General Operations (GRO) and Administrative departments to ensure engineering projects align with hotel guest services and brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, identify potential failures, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and manage the engineering budget, including cost‑control measures, procurement of spare parts, and vendor negotiations.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, energy consumption, and compliance with local safety regulations.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining up‑to‑date documentation and certifications.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages or water leaks, providing effective on‑site solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions for the engineering team on new technologies, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Maintain strong communication channels with hotel management, front‑office staff, and external contractors to support seamless operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory engineering role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
- Fluent English proficiency, especially for interaction with the GRO and General Administration teams.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with internal staff and external vendors.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Technical knowledge in electrical engineering (Keterampilan Teknik Elektro) and basic mechanical systems.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional after‑hours emergencies.
