Responsibilities
- Perform end‑to‑end installation and configuration of network components, including Wireless Access Points, Fiber Optic cables, LAN switches, routers, and related hardware.
- Set up and commission Set‑Top Boxes (STB) and client‑side applications, ensuring seamless integration with the service platform.
- Conduct regular maintenance and real‑time monitoring of network infrastructure to proactively identify potential issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve service disruptions for both Broadband and Dedicated line customers, utilizing OSI model and TCP/IP knowledge.
- Document all installation procedures, configuration changes, and service tickets accurately in the company’s ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the central technical support team to relay field insights that can improve product design and service processes.
- Provide on‑site technical assistance and training to clients, explaining system functionalities and best‑practice usage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in varied environments, including residential homes, commercial offices, and outdoor sites.
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekend work, to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical network incidents.
- Continuously update personal knowledge on emerging networking technologies, such as FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and advanced wireless standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in network administration, technical support, or a similar IT role.
- Fundamental understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Practical experience with Wireless Access Points, LAN design, and Fiber Optic configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Bali and work on‑site at client locations.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including Saturdays, from 08:00 to 17:00.
