As a therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers professional treatments ranging from therapeutic massages to cutting‑edge beauty services, while receiving comprehensive training that takes you from beginner to certified expert.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of treatments including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, spa rituals, reflexology, facial acupressure (totok wajah), ear therapy, and head massages.
- Provide beauty care services such as nail art, waxing, salon hair styling, and eyelash extensions, adhering to the brand’s high standards of hygiene and client safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to industry protocols.
- Assess client needs through courteous consultations, recommend appropriate treatments, and create personalized wellness plans.
- Record each session in the company’s management system, tracking client preferences, treatment outcomes, and follow‑up recommendations.
- Collaborate with fellow therapists and front‑desk staff to ensure smooth scheduling, inventory management, and seamless client experiences.
- Participate actively in ongoing training sessions in Yogyakarta and local workshops to stay updated on the latest techniques and product knowledge.
- Uphold deWAVE’s brand values by delivering exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both clients and colleagues.
Requirements
- Female candidates (gender‑specific hiring for this role) aged 45 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent; all educational backgrounds are welcome.
- No prior experience required – however, 1–1.5 years of experience in massage or beauty care is considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness to attend a comprehensive training program in Yogyakarta and to be placed in any of deWAVE’s new locations, with placement preferences considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic approach to client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, specifically Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 am – 10:00 pm, and adapt to varying client flow.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massage techniques safely and effectively.
- Commitment to personal growth, teamwork, and continuous learning in the wellness industry.
