Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning according to recipe specifications.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors, ensuring proper use and regular cleaning.
- Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control of perishable items.
- Support the head chef and sous‑chef in executing menu items, plating dishes, and ensuring consistent quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order timing, handle special requests, and maintain smooth service flow.
- Participate in regular team briefings, share ideas for process improvement, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to the hotel’s hygiene policies throughout the shift.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the kitchen before and after service, including equipment checks and deep cleaning tasks.
- Comply with all health, safety, and occupational regulations, promptly reporting any hazards or incidents.

- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
