Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a clear explanation of specials and dietary options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Monitor the dining floor continuously, ensuring that tables are set correctly, glasses are refilled, and any guest needs are addressed in a timely manner.
- Serve meals and beverages with precision, adhering to proper plating standards and maintaining a polished appearance throughout service.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely, issue receipts, and reconcile end‑of‑day cash registers.
- Assist with light food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads, garnishing plates, or restocking buffet stations, leveraging basic cooking skills when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including table settings, condiments, and service stations, to uphold health and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure a seamless flow of service during peak hours.
- Address guest feedback—both positive and constructive—professionally, and escalate any serious concerns to management for swift resolution.
- Participate in regular training sessions, menu tastings, and team meetings to stay informed about new offerings and service protocols.
Requirements
- Educational background: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 28 years old; candidates must be single and not currently enrolled in any academic program.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, with a reputation for being quick, disciplined, responsible, and honest.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is advantageous, though not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
- Basic cooking knowledge and the ability to assist with simple food preparation tasks.
- Strong teamwork orientation, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to support colleagues during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work a six‑day work week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
