Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly smile.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge, including ingredient information, dietary restrictions, and daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Upsell complementary items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue.
- Monitor tables throughout service, promptly refill drinks, address any concerns, and ensure guests’ needs are met with professionalism.
- Process payments efficiently, handle cash and card transactions, and issue receipts while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate seamless service flow.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, attend training sessions, and contribute ideas for service improvements.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 25 years.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Fresh graduates are welcome if they demonstrate strong motivation and a customer‑service mindset.
- Professional appearance and well‑groomed presentation.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
- Disciplined, honest, and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt to dynamic service situations.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including handling of orders, table settings, and payment processing.
