SNV is anticipating an upcoming 5-year project on a sustainable palm oil supply chain in North Sumatra. The project is targeting to reach 20,000 smallholders who will benefit from the key activities covering BMP Regenerative Agriculture, Institutional Business Development, and Women Economic Empowerment. To support the project, SNV is currently looking for Project Assistant to be based in North Sumatra.
The Project Assistant is part of an SNV Country Organisation works at a sub-national level, providing support in the implementation of the project by following guided procedures and processes, according to specific rules and donor compliance. The Project Assistant ensures service needs are reviewed and service delivery is guided. The Project Assistant can assist in the Finance and Administration of a project or also on the technical side of the project implementation:
1. Provides support for the project through gathering and processing of relevant data, in line with the procedures and project requirements and based on the information supplied.
2. Applies and supports established project procedures and main processes to meet service needs. Ensures service standards are met in (consistent) delivery.
3. Provides support to project staff members, to support project processes
Contract Duration: : Initially for one year with possibility for extension
