Description of the vacancy:
The post holder will need to be an efficient worker and enjoy the challenge of a growth-orientated environment. The candidate must be able to work in a team and, at times, independently. The role will require close working with members of the various environmental and social performance team personnel in Indonesia office and other global hubs (the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and South Africa); as well as with staff across Business Lines. Willingness to contribute to multi-disciplinary teams will be key to the successful execution of the role.
She/He will contribute proactively to ensure consulting services are consistently delivered to the highest standards. We have an extensive portfolio of work and the multi-faceted role will involve in technical approach of environmental geography, including but not limited to geographic information analysis, physical geography (physiography), spatial vulnerable/sensitivity/risk assessment, natural resource valuation, and/or land and spatial-related policy analysis projects of various sizes including maritime, aviation, power, infrastructure, chemicals, trading, nature and conservation, oil and gas, mining, agribusiness, fast-moving consumer goods, building and land development, manufacturing assembly, other industries (pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, textile and apparel, and container and packaging).
She/He will be expected to provide robust support to other members of the team, be able to individually develop your own technical passion, and assist in the smooth running and continued successful development of the Environment and Social Performance team.
She/He will have basic experience in environmental geography project, program, and/or research; and appropriate knowledge and passion in data science/analysis will be and advantage.
Her/His role will involve directly working with the team and clients, problem solving and support in digital initiative, representing the company in client offices, regulator and stakeholder meetings and sometimes high-pressured external environments. It is likely that several projects would be supported simultaneously.
