About Our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturing company in Indonesia, a notable name in the industry, and they are currently looking for a Project Manager to oversee their project portfolios.

Job Description

  • Implement cost control CAPEX consisting of machinery / equipment and buildings at an efficient level
  • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts and manage construction schedule and activities
  • Evaluation and development of all machinery / equipment and buildings are carried out in the project, and to submit the proposed amendment or replacement of a machine to Corporate Project Manager
  • Ensure effective control over all sub-contractors appointed to do delivered the project based on the requirements and specifications.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring contractual obligations related to the construction are fulfilled
  • Coordinate with the internal and external project team on manpower and time schedule
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and advisors, ensuring the delivery of high quality within contract timescales
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Ensure work is done with compliance to all health and safety standards and report issues
  • Manage with the escalation of contract disputes to mitigate the impact and support on-time delivery
  • Understand and Implement Management System ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, OHSAS 18001 also EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group)

The Successful Applicant

  • 10 years of experience in Project Management / Construction Management roles
  • Must have been in a managerial role with strong experience in EPC project and project management. A combined experience would be an added advantage.
  • Having Project Management Certification will be a great advantage.
  • Understanding of Quality, Health and Safety standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
  • Having good communication and stakeholder management skills.
