Location: Indonesia Department: Finance/Legal Location: Indonesia Job Description We are searching for a dynamic, analytical, entrepreneurial, broad-minded individual to join us as the Head of FP&A. Be part of the team that is steering the exciting eCommerce revolution in Southeast Asia!
Reporting to the Country Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for all the Lazada ID entities in the country and your role will cover:

  • Lead monthly closing & management reporting process
Run a dynamic and well operated closing process to enable delivery of group's target, within timeline. Have clear KPI for key P&L lines (both output and key drivers), robust tracking and R&O process to enable achievement to targets.
This also requires close coordination with accounting team and certain understanding of accounting process.

  • Lead resource pool utilisation
Understand the efficiency measurements for PL items/user mechanics then able to steer the discussion re allocation of resource pool which would give most impact to the company

  • Produce competitive analyis
Instill external looking mindset by providing competitive analysis and monitoring, gain insight, and identify opportunity to lazada

  • Manpower management : right sizing and efficiency
Organization improvements and cost controls implemented without major impacts on business operations, including BPO/Contractors costs
Partnering CPO to establish a strong governance process, includes regular HC & Cost review cadences, review requests for additional manpower against returns etc

  • Lead problem solving as required
Understanding root cause of reporting issues and Liaison with relevant department for resolution (could be accounting/tax/treasury/procurement/BI) either local or regional to solve the issues.

  • Building a capable and well connected FP&A team
Nurture strong engagement/collaboration with various functions i.e. FBPs, Accounting, Business owners, both regional and local to enable prompt information sharing and also steering.
Motivate and develop team members in terms of business understanding and analytical skills mainly, provide opportunity to grow, and charter career/development plan for this person
Job Requirements In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accountancy
  • More than 8 years of working experience in FPA / finance analytics and finance business partnering roles
  • Good knowledge of the activities performed in the entire finance function
  • Great communication skills: can articulate issues well, can communicate issues to non-finance in a simple yet effective manner
  • Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and tight deadline when handling ad hoc requests for reports/deck presentation
  • Meticulous, good-time management and possess high level of initiative and integrity
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and PPT preferred
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and detail oriented
  • Demonstrates ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, humble and challenging mindset
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes
