About the Role
This role reports directly to the GoPay Marketing Head and works closely with all the other marketing team, Pod team and regional Consumer Engagement and Operational team (of GoJek) to manage the overall GoPay regional/hyperlocal marketing activities; particularly but not limited to POI motion, POSM implementation and QC as well as regional activation. As a Head of Regional Marketing, you will be at the driver seat of spearheading the transformation of GoPay presence across the region via hyperlocal approach - working hand in hand with GoJek Regional CE and Operation team.
For this role, you are expected to have the maturity and humility to deal and earn the trust of the regional team from Gojek, yet solid leadership to earn their respect and move the needle via tight collaboration with them, as well as a knack for seeing the big picture, think strategically while moving quickly with execution.
What You Will Do
Build robust GoPay presence across the regions through
Robust strategy and executional motion of GoPay POI and POSM implementation
Driving more hyperlocal, strategic and stronger creative and activation to ensure strong value proposition and brand identity of GoPay
Building strategic direction based on sharp analysis on how to drive hyperlocal activation for each region according to their strength and growth opportunity
Manage the overall regional marketing team that spreaded outside headquarter location (including 3rd party vendors and/or outsourcing individuals) including coaching and developing existing members and hiring and onboarding new members as needed
Work closely with the pod, product marketing, brand marketing and GoJek regional team as well as agency partners to ensure that we are driving impactful GoPay penetration and usage through our activities
Earn trust from internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and balance contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Effectively utilize data and research at the customer level to gain a better understanding of their usage behaviors, including impacts of current creative and content strategies and implementation.
What You Will Need
At least 8 years of overall experience, and minimum 4 years experience in digital marketing, brand management, advertising, and other related fields.
Strong leadership qualities, be it towards people management as well as thought leadership thinking and presence.
Consumer driven mindset with strong ability to understand user insight and translate them into actionable strategy and plan
Strong knowledge and experience on the marketing operational side; i.e. have worked in regional team before
Able to roll up sleeves and get in the trenches as needed
Comfortable with data and can harness it effectively to generate insights on your own. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth.
You’re biased toward action, are a great collaborator and are able to distill complex plans into clear and actionable tasks.
Strong project management and ability to manage multiple campaigns with eyes on details without losing sights of the big picture
You have a true passion for GoPay’s mission for financial inclusion across Indonesia
Have an interest in fintech and be willing to learn about the industry

Our Product Marketing team, a subsidiary of the larger GoPay Marketing team, consists of 40+ people based in Jakarta who are experts in product marketing, branding, social media management, and content creation. This is a very close-knit group who ensures Gojek’s overall infrastructure which enables sustainable business growth is solid and healthy.
We like to visualize ourselves as a bunch of Spider Men/Women securing webs across high-rise buildings so our GoTroops can move around on higher levels with ease. We take the time to understand the various needs and preferences within our Gojek ecosystem (consisting predominantly of our customers, driver-partners, and merchant-partners), rely on numbers and data-points, and build off what makes our products unique in order to formulate our market strategy and path forward as a team.
