Senior Logistic Coordinator
Job Description
As the Senior Logistics Coordinator at Micron Memory Malaysia, you will be responsible for coordinating the Logistic business including direct Receiving & Materials Operations and Finished Goods Operations in external Warehouse . You will be responsible to provide strategic coordination with process owners to enable error -free distribution of physical goods that delivered to Micron and external customers. You will provide leadership to enable error -free packaging, picking, inventory management in line business requirement . In collaboration with 3PL service providers, you will help to formulate budgets and policies based on company strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring legal, fiscal, and ethical compliance with the regulatory requirements are followed by the 3PL operator. Work closely with Micron stakeholders to create and find solutions if there are discrepancies found in business processes. You will help ensure customer needs are met by 3PL providers while maintaining the quality and consistency of products and services. Tasks will also include managing staff goals and supervising staff, establishing, and delivering departmental goals, and monitoring overall performance. You will be stationed at external warehouse facility to oversee and ensure the process is compliant and assist the service provider if any assistance is required.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Manage the 3PL and ensure high quality of performance at the optimum costs.
  • Plan, organize, lead, and control the various functions and activities to ensure delivery of the right product, at the right quantity, on a right time and to the right locations.
  • Drive for the process improvement and optimization for all activities through collaboration with various stakeholder .
  • Establish or enhance policies and procedures for external warehouse activities as per company policies and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure and monitor goods or equipment or exports processes in compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
  • Ensure that financial controls are in place and are SOX compliant.
  • Conduct or review audits for Warehouse activities such as storage or transportation.
  • Ensure global compliance with shipping and trade rules and regulations are complying
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standard and monitoring performance.
  • Manage performance of direct reports and that of the overall team while providing learning and growth opportunities

Education
Required
Diploma or Bachelor's degree
Experience
Required
Min 10years' experience in any of the following:
. Experienced LMW licensed or Warehouse/Logistics
  • Experienced in Logistic or Semiconductor industry will be an advantage.
