Job Description
Define and Implement Testing Standard and Strategies
Define and implement software testing strategies for each products or projects
Define quality standards and metrics for each products or projects
Establish standard test governance and management process from test planning to execution and closure
Design and implement automated testing process as part of CI/CD pipeline
Provide guidelines for development team to create unit test scripts to test features early during development
Plan and Manage Test Execution
Plan and schedule test activities for products / projects (test strategy, test data, test cases and scripts, test execution, managing defects, test report and closure)
Maintain test case repository and test scripts (manual and automated testing)
Manage team to execute test strategy and test plan
Manage defects triage meeting and ensure defects are resolved
Work with IT security team on penetration and security tests
Prepare progress and defects reports
Risk management to minimize risk of quality issues
Process Improvement
Implement defect management process in JIRA
Continuously improve testing and validation processes throughout product / software life cycle
Improve testing process efficiency by automation
Manage Stakeholders and Team
Manage performance of testing team members and provide feedbacks
Manage relationships between cross functional teams
Prepare reports for management
Build / setup testing team required for each product / project
