Position: Waiter/Waitress In-Room Dining (Full time #527781) Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Duties and Responsibilities
To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
To demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high level of commitment.
Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests
Assist Guest courteously and efficiently
Set up tables/dining trolley as per the standard and meals period.
Communicate with Kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements
To prepare the pantry and side station assigned with sufficient Mise en Place
To maintain the back of the house neat, tidy, clean and safe
Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
To deliver the correct order to the table/rooms.
To carry out daily, weekly and monthly inventory
Clear tables between courses through out the meal
To make sure that the IRD trolleys/trays are clear from the rooms within the standard of time limit. As well as check the floor’s pantries.
To enter guests’ rooms with courteous manner and polite gesture
To check and re stock the Mini Bar operation
To Ensure that all in-house VIP's list and amenities are registered, and any relevant information is discussed
To make sure Azure Pool Bar’s operation are well maintained
To check all Door knob menus
To fully inform and aware about all information connecting to Food and Beverage outlets and Mandarin Oriental Jakarta/Group generally
To have role of good Brand ambassador
To maintain all Hotel’s assets
Requirements:
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays.
Be a self-motivator and motivator of others
Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
Be able to relate to all levels of guests and management.
Have a minimum of 1-year experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment
Have excellent communication and organization skills
Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest
Have the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner
Have excellent attention to details and service knowledge
