Job Description

Warehouse & Logistic Manager





YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that all Bayer operated warehouses activities running effectively in terms of administration, availability of materials and space (i.e : proper control on incoming and out going materials or finished products)
  • To map out material movement between warehouses at optimized cost for implementation by 3PL
  • To select, manage, monitor 3PL for implementation of warehouse and transportation operation as per agreed procedure and review performance
  • To propose for any improvement in warehouse and operation managed by Bayer or 3PL for efficiency
  • To ensure that the day to day activities are comply to BCS standard, ISO9001:2000 and 14001 , 5 S program and OHSAS18001
  • To Conduct risk assessment for warehouse/distribution activities in Bayer and 3PL warehouse and mitigate the risk especially on critical equipment
  • Ensure good shipped according to DG regulation
  • Train Bayer and 3PL warehouse operators on process and plant safety level
  • To support Supply Chain Excellence Projects and implementation
  • To ensure that all logistic resources (man power, materials, method,space) are utilized in optimum way (ie : optimize warehouse space occupation)
  • To manage and monitor O2C operation, review procedure and propose improvement for efficiency to increase service level to customer
  • To align between forecast, actual incoming order, production plan, delivery of 3PL and credit situation to make sure achievement of delivery versus target. Alignment with sales target on managing the stock allocation and closely monitor commercial decision on order management
  • To ensure that all logistic and O2Cdepartment staffs are well trained in order to be in line with their respective competency, set up objective and goal
  • To support Production Department during day to day activities in order to achieve production target (i.e : transfer materials to production, control material availability, control incoming materials from local vendors)
  • To control the inventory of materials and finished products in all warehouses (internal & 3PL) always in balance between actual stock against P4S
  • To manage waste and ex used material and monitor for proper disposal at each warehouse to propose and manage operation within budget

WHO YOU ARE

  • Economy/Business Administration/Industrial Engineering S1 degree
  • minimum 5 years experience in managing warehouse and logisticin manufacturing company at managerial level
  • Strong leadership
  • Proficient in English both verbal and written
  • Good networking and interpersonal skill
  • Good negotiation and analytical skill
  • Computer skills (MS office and SAP), Warehouse Management System
  • Preferably has knowledge and experience in project management and operation excellence
