Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Dish Washer to join our Kitchen Operations Support team. Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and load dirty dishes, glassware, pots, and pans into commercial dishwashing machines.
- Operate and monitor dishwashers, adjusting cycles and temperatures to meet health‑code standards.
- Inspect cleaned items for residues or damage and re‑wash as necessary to guarantee spotless presentation.
- Maintain a tidy and organized dishwashing area, including regular cleaning of sinks, worktops, and floors.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients, during peak periods.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, report shortages, and assist in restocking when needed.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and safe lifting techniques.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen personnel to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Participate in daily briefings and contribute suggestions for improving kitchen efficiency and waste reduction.
- Adhere to the restaurant’s schedule, working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar dishwashing or kitchen support role.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Core Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage cleanliness standards, and basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
- Personal Qualities: Honest, disciplined, punctual, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 kg, and performing repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be able to work the full schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
