Introduction
Meat N Fresh, a leading retailer of premium meat and fresh food products in East Kalimantan, is expanding its sales force in the Tenggarong area of Kutai Kartanegara. We are seeking a motivated Canvasser Penjualan to join our dynamic team and help drive growth through direct customer engagement. This full‑time role involves field‑based activities, including canvassing neighborhoods, visiting existing accounts, and generating new business opportunities for our store.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic canvassing in the store’s surrounding area to identify potential retail and wholesale customers.
- Perform scheduled visits to current customers, reinforcing product knowledge, addressing inquiries, and ensuring repeat purchases.
- Prospect and acquire new customers (NOO – New Order Opportunities) by presenting Meat N Fresh’s product range and competitive pricing.
- Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients through regular follow‑up, personalized service, and timely resolution of any issues.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by actively promoting promotions, cross‑selling complementary items, and upselling premium cuts.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily activity reports, including visit logs, sales figures, and market feedback for management review.
- Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to coordinate deliveries, ensure product freshness, and manage stock availability for customers.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic adjustments.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date on product specifications, food safety standards, and effective sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study majors are considered.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably as a canvasser, motorcycle sales representative, or territory officer.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) with a clean driving record.
- No upper age limit; candidates of any age who demonstrate the required competence are welcome.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Detail‑oriented, target‑driven, and capable of managing time effectively while working independently.

- Willingness to be based in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, with a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑18:00.
