Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Teknisi Mesin Digital (Proyek) to join our dynamic team in Sleman, Yogyakarta. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our state‑of‑the‑art digital printing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and top‑quality output for our high‑volume printing and packaging projects. This full‑time position offers a structured Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (08:00 – 17:00) and provides an excellent opportunity to grow within the fast‑evolving digital printing industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all digital presses, large‑format indoor‑outdoor printers, and supporting ancillary equipment to guarantee optimal performance and reduce unexpected downtime.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and execute rapid repairs on mechanical, electrical, and software issues, minimizing production interruptions.
- Calibrate color management systems and verify print precision regularly to meet BU Printing & Packaging’s stringent quality standards.
- Document maintenance activities, generate detailed technical reports, and propose cost‑effective solutions for spare‑part usage and technology upgrades.
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors, designers, and quality‑control teams to align machine settings with project specifications.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in digital printing technology, recommending process improvements and participating in continuous‑learning programs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new printing equipment, providing on‑site training for operators and junior technicians.
- Maintain an organized and safe workshop environment, adhering to all occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK or Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a technician for digital printing machines, including offset digital or large‑format indoor‑outdoor printers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to emerging digital printing technologies.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or on‑call support during critical production runs.
