Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Private Tutor to provide high‑quality, one‑on‑one instruction to school‑age children in the Jakarta area. This role focuses on early childhood education, particularly the development of calistung (reading, writing, and arithmetic) through an engaging “Smart Fun and Learning” methodology. The successful candidate will join a growing team of educators who are passionate about nurturing curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning habits in young learners.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the child’s individual learning pace.
- Teach calistung concepts using interactive, play‑based techniques that keep lessons lively and effective.
- Assess each student’s progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Prepare simple, clear progress reports for parents after each week of tutoring.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment that encourages curiosity and respectful communication.
- Collaborate with parents to discuss goals, address concerns, and suggest at‑home reinforcement activities.
- Participate in regular training sessions on the latest early‑childhood pedagogical trends and digital learning tools.
- Manage attendance, lesson materials, and classroom resources efficiently.
- Uphold the centre’s standards for punctuality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Requirements
- Female candidate, maximum age of 28 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on teaching experience with toddlers or preschoolers (TK/PAUD/BIMBA preferred).
- Demonstrated honesty, patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational abilities and a willingness to learn new teaching technologies.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools for lesson planning and reporting (e.g., Google Docs, educational apps).
- Commitment to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
