We are seeking motivated and proactive individuals to join us as Business Partner – Staff Lapangan. This role is pivotal in connecting local households with our capital‑lending programs, fostering financial inclusion, and supporting the growth of micro‑enterprises in the area.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach and community networking to invite them into Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide ongoing economic counseling and support to existing members, helping them manage household finances and improve business sustainability.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s credit policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on client eligibility, repayment capacity, and collateral adequacy, feeding accurate data into the central underwriting system.
- Execute timely collection activities, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and negotiation of repayment schedules, while maintaining respectful client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the regional operations team to share market insights, propose product enhancements, and contribute to the achievement of quarterly targets.
- Maintain personal and company records, ensuring that all documentation is complete, organized, and securely stored.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years for some positions).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are particularly encouraged.
- Possession of a personal motorbike or car to travel across the assigned field area.
- Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with diverse community members.
- Resilience and physical stamina to work outdoors daily, often in remote locations.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community development is a plus, but fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools for data entry and reporting (e.g., mobile apps, spreadsheets).
