Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Security Guard – Facility Safety Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our premises, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and assets across multiple locations. The successful candidate will work a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, providing a visible and professional security presence while coordinating with internal teams and external authorities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the facility, checking all entry points, parking areas, and perimeter fences for potential security breaches.
- Monitor and operate closed‑circuit television (CCTV) systems, promptly identifying and responding to suspicious activity or emergencies.
- Control access to the building by verifying identification badges, logging visitors, and managing delivery and contractor check‑ins.
- Respond to alarms, fire drills, and medical emergencies, providing first‑aid assistance and coordinating with emergency services when needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover notes to ensure seamless communication with shift supervisors.
- Enforce company policies regarding safety, dress code, and prohibited items such as weapons, tattoos (for men), and body piercings.
- Maintain and inspect security equipment, including radios, flashlights, and personal protective gear, ensuring they are operational at all times.
- Collaborate with facilities management to identify potential safety hazards and recommend improvements to fire safety, evacuation routes, and building security.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates, aged 20–35 years, with a maximum age limit of 40 years for consideration.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Height requirements: at least 168 cm for men and 160 cm for women; body weight must be proportionate to height.
- Good physical and mental health, confirmed by a recent medical certificate.
- No visible tattoos or body piercings for male applicants; a clean, professional appearance is required.
- Clean criminal record with an active SKCK (Police Clearance Certificate).
- Possession of a valid Gada Pratama security certification (mandatory).
- Holder of a KTA Satpam (Security Personnel Identification Card).
- Strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and incident documentation.
