Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and escort them to their tables while presenting menus and daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar, and address any dietary restrictions or special requests.
  • Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and portion control.
  • Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipate guest needs, refill drinks, and handle any concerns with composure and a solution‑oriented attitude.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing glassware, and adhering to health‑code standards.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to synchronize service flow and meet peak‑hour demands.
  • Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and manage tip distribution in accordance with restaurant policy.
  • Participate in pre‑shift briefings, menu tastings, and ongoing training sessions to stay informed about new menu items, promotions, and service protocols.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s brand image by maintaining a neat, professional appearance that meets height and grooming standards.
  • Contribute ideas for improving service efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in the F&B or hospitality sector, though motivated newcomers are welcome.
  • Physical fitness and mental resilience to handle long shifts, standing for extended periods, and a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Professional appearance: well‑groomed, neat attire, with height requirements of 155 cm (women) or 160 cm (men) as a guideline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear communication, and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with proven ability to cooperate effectively with kitchen, bar, and management staff.
  • Customer‑service orientation, showing empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
  • Capability to work under pressure, meet service targets, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shift hours from 08:00 to 17:00, and occasional overtime during peak periods.
