As the face of our popular fried‑banana stand, you will play a pivotal part in delivering a memorable snack experience to both locals and visitors.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of operational and service duties, including but not limited to:
- Preparing and frying fresh pisang goreng according to the company’s recipe and quality guidelines.
- Ensuring all food handling practices comply with local health regulations and internal safety protocols.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station, including regular sanitization of cooking equipment, utensils, and the serving area.
- Managing inventory of raw ingredients (bananas, oil, batter, spices) and notifying the supervisor when supplies run low.
- Providing courteous and prompt service to customers, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and issuing receipts.
- Monitoring product freshness, discarding any expired or sub‑standard items, and adhering to first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) inventory methods.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up the stand in the morning and securing it at night.
- Collaborating with fellow staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, especially on weekends and local events.
- Participating in periodic training sessions on food safety, customer service excellence, and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Age: Maximum 30 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the employer).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills:
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Friendly demeanor with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and handle moderate physical activity.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
