Introduction
BPK PENABUR Tasikmalaya is seeking a dedicated Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen to join our vibrant elementary school community. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to shape young minds through the teachings of Christian values, fostering moral development, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating closely with fellow educators, parents, and school leadership to create a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver comprehensive Christian Religious Education (CRE) lessons aligned with the national curriculum and BPK PENABUR’s educational philosophy.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies—including storytelling, multimedia resources, group projects, and experiential learning—to engage students of diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Integrate values‑based education across subjects, encouraging students to apply Christian principles in everyday situations and community service.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, curriculum development workshops, and professional development sessions to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects cultural diversity while upholding the school’s Christian ethos.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and spiritual growth.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as prayer meetings, youth retreats, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with school administrators to develop school‑wide initiatives that promote moral and ethical development.
- Maintain classroom resources, prepare lesson materials, and ensure the learning environment is organized and conducive to study.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pendidikan Agama Kristen or a closely related field.
- Female candidates only, as stipulated by the institution’s policy for this specific role.
- Strong knowledge of Christian theology, biblical studies, and the Indonesian national curriculum for religious education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate elementary‑age learners.
