This role is centered on providing warm, human‑focused service to customers who are preparing for the sacred journeys of Haji and Umrah. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective pilgrims with a courteous and helpful demeanor, answering inquiries about travel packages, documentation, and related merchandise.
- Maintain the sales floor by organizing products, restocking shelves, and ensuring displays are attractive and aligned with promotional themes.
- Process transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale system, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Provide detailed product information, especially for items such as travel accessories, religious books, and health kits tailored for Haji and Umrah participants.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in‑store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty programs.
- Collect and record customer feedback, forwarding insights to management to improve service quality.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, customer service excellence, and compliance with Islamic travel regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment that reflects the company’s commitment to hospitality.
- Assist with inventory audits and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Support administrative tasks such as preparing sales reports, managing appointment schedules for pilgrim consultations, and updating customer databases.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4; candidates with a background in Marketing, Multimedia, or related fields are preferred.
- Age: maximum 23 years; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Gender: Female (per company policy) and must be a single, practicing Muslimah.
- Residency: Preference given to candidates residing in Solo or its surrounding areas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey information clearly and compassionately.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic.
- Basic proficiency in store management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak pilgrimage seasons.
- Positive attitude, energetic personality, and a genuine desire to assist travelers on their spiritual journeys.
