Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality ironing and pressing of a wide variety of garments, ensuring each item meets the company’s strict appearance standards.
- Sort incoming laundry by fabric type, color, and care instructions, and prioritize items based on client deadlines.
- Operate and maintain ironing equipment, including steam presses, flat‑top irons, and related safety devices, performing routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct final quality inspections, checking for wrinkles, stains, or damage, and re‑process items when necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory of linens, uniforms, and special‑care items, recording usage and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the washing, folding, and packaging teams to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery to clients.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and safe operation of hot equipment.
- Provide courteous communication with clients and internal staff, answering questions about garment care and handling special requests.
- Assist in training new team members on ironing techniques, equipment usage, and quality standards.
- Participate in shift handovers, documenting completed tasks and any equipment issues for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; both men and women are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, honesty, and agility in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong initiative and a sense of responsibility; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in laundry or hospitality housekeeping is a plus.
- Educational background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is a plus.
- Proactive, self‑reliant, and capable of thriving in a shift‑based system (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle light to moderate loads.
