Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Officer for the Situbondo region of East Java. The role is part of a leading micro‑finance organization that empowers low‑income women by providing business mentorship, financial literacy, and group‑based financing solutions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted liaison between the institution and its female clients, helping them build sustainable livelihoods while fostering community cohesion.
The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with a competitive salary based on the regional UMP and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be female, aged between 18 and 33, and possess at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or higher.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned villages and neighborhoods to establish rapport with low‑income women entrepreneurs.
- Provide one‑on‑one and group coaching on basic financial management, budgeting, and disciplined savings practices.
- Facilitate group‑based loan disbursements without collateral, ensuring that repayment schedules are clear and manageable.
- Monitor loan performance, track repayment milestones, and intervene proactively to resolve any payment challenges.
- Gather client feedback, assess emerging needs, and coordinate with internal product teams to design tailored financial solutions.
- Organize community workshops on topics such as digital banking, market linkages, and entrepreneurship best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meeting minutes, and performance metrics using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Collaborate with local partners, NGOs, and government agencies to leverage additional resources for client development.
- Promote the organization’s mission through community events, social media outreach, and word‑of‑mouth referrals.
Requirements
- Female candidate, age 18‑33.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for meeting new people.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with a talent for simplifying complex financial concepts.
