Introduction
We are seeking a talented Koki Pastry Spesialis Kue & Roti to join our dynamic bakery team. This role is ideal for a creative and disciplined pastry professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering high‑quality breads, cakes, and confectionery to our customers. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, contributing to both daily production and special event orders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to standardized recipes and company quality standards.
- Develop and test new product concepts, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current market trends.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, perform daily stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure freshness and cost‑effectiveness.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and regular equipment sanitation.
- Decorate finished goods with precision, ensuring visual appeal aligns with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the front‑of‑house team to fulfill custom orders and accommodate special dietary requests.
- Train junior kitchen staff on pastry techniques, portion control, and safe work practices.
- Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows during peak periods, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Document production data, report any deviations, and suggest process improvements to reduce waste.
- Participate in monthly menu planning meetings, providing insights on cost, feasibility, and consumer preferences.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
