Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Account Officer for our Kartasura branch. This role is a key position within our credit and marketing team, responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and driving loan portfolio growth in a competitive banking environment. The successful candidate will combine analytical rigor with on‑the‑ground sales expertise to meet both individual and branch targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate and retail customers within the assigned Kartasura area.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including financial statement review, cash‑flow assessment, and risk rating.
- Prepare and present loan proposals to senior management, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain an active pipeline of loan applications, monitoring progress from origination to disbursement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, providing ongoing relationship management, cross‑selling banking products, and addressing service issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the branch manager, credit officers, and operations team to ensure seamless processing and timely closure of transactions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, reporting performance metrics and market insights to head office.
- Utilize personal vehicle and a valid SIM C to conduct field visits, market surveys, and client meetings throughout the designated territory.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in banking regulations to provide strategic recommendations.
- Participate in community outreach and networking events to enhance the bank’s brand visibility in the local market.
Requirements
- Age: maximum 35 years.
- Education: Minimum D3/S1 (all majors); preferred fields are Economics, Management, or Banking.
- Experience: At least 1 year as an Account Officer or Credit Marketing Executive; fresh graduates with strong internship experience will be considered.
- Strong credit analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess risk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a proven ability to work independently in the field.
- Possession of a valid SIM C and personal vehicle for frequent travel within the assigned area.
- Deep knowledge of the Kartasura market, including key businesses, local economic drivers, and competitor presence.
- Proficiency with standard office software and banking systems; ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a customer‑focused attitude.
