Introduction

Adira Finance is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Account Officer (Problem) to join our team in Siak, Riau. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the health of our portfolio by managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely collections. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, credit, and legal teams to resolve payment issues, support customer relationships, and contribute to the overall financial performance of the organization.

The role is based at our local office, offering a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the accounts receivable (A/R) overdue portfolio, specifically handling accounts aged 61‑120 days.
  • Initiate timely collection activities, including phone calls, emails, and on‑site visits, to secure payments and reduce delinquency rates.
  • Coordinate with sales and credit departments to verify the accuracy of customer information and resolve disputes.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on overdue status, collection effectiveness, and forecasted cash flow.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Identify patterns of recurring payment issues and recommend process improvements to senior management.
  • Support the development of credit risk mitigation strategies by providing insights from collection trends.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel when escalation to formal recovery procedures is necessary.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit control, or a related financial role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
  • Strong understanding of the multifinance business model and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Proficiency in sales management (B2C), customer‑focused communication, and ability to meet sales‑oriented targets.
  • Comfortable using standard office software and familiar with CRM or ERP systems for tracking collections.
  • Willingness to be placed at the Adira Finance office that aligns with the candidate’s domicile.
