Introduction
BNI Life is seeking a dynamic Spesialis Bancassurance to join our sales team in Central Jakarta. The successful candidate will act as the frontline representative of BNI Life within selected BNI Bank branches, promoting and selling individual life insurance solutions to retail customers. This role is based in the vibrant districts of Kemayoran, Senen, Gambir, and Cempaka Putih, offering exposure to a diverse client base and the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Indonesia’s bancassurance market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life insurance products within the assigned BNI branch, aligning targets with both BNI Life and the bank’s revenue objectives.
- Conduct proactive outreach to branch visitors, identifying needs and presenting tailored insurance solutions through effective storytelling and product demonstrations.
- Maintain a robust pipeline by following up on leads generated by the bank’s front‑line staff, call‑center, and digital channels.
- Collaborate closely with bank relationship managers, tellers, and branch managers to integrate insurance offerings into the overall customer journey.
- Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to both customers and internal bank staff, enhancing product knowledge and confidence in cross‑selling.
- Negotiate terms, handle policy applications, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and BNI Life’s underwriting guidelines.
- Track performance metrics daily, provide weekly sales reports, and suggest process improvements to senior management.
- Foster long‑term relationships with clients, offering post‑sale service, policy reviews, and renewal support to maximize customer retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting bancassurance, sharing insights with the team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a D3 or S1 degree in any discipline are also encouraged to apply.
- Age between 20‑35 years; fresh graduates (22‑35) with strong motivation are welcome.
- At least 1–2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services or insurance sector; experience in bancassurance or bank‑related product distribution is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a polished, professional appearance.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal banking teams and external clients.
- High level of integrity, with no active registration in the AAJI (Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia).
- Strong interest in sales, target‑driven mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Indonesian; English language skills are a plus.
