Responsibilities
- Conduct regular on‑site visits to assigned borrowers in the Rantau Prapat area to assess payment status and provide guidance on repayment options.
- Perform proactive collection activities, including phone calls, SMS reminders, and face‑to‑face negotiations, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all collection efforts, payment agreements, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the credit risk and underwriting teams to flag high‑risk accounts and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Educate borrowers on the benefits of timely repayment, the consequences of defaults, and available financial literacy resources.
- Coordinate with legal counsel when escalation to formal recovery processes becomes necessary.
- Adhere to all applicable financial regulations, company policies, and ethical standards during collection activities.
- Utilize a personal motor vehicle and a valid SIM C to travel efficiently across the assigned territory.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on collection best practices, negotiation techniques, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in debt collection, credit control, or related financial services is preferred, though fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, teamwork, and a dynamic attitude.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle and a valid SIM C license.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Rantau Prapat region.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse customer profiles.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of credit management, financial law, and negotiation tactics.
