Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Assistant Factory Manager (KLI‑32) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This full‑time position supports the Factory Manager in overseeing daily plant operations, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with corporate standards. The role is based at our main production facility and follows a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (08:00‑17:00). Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and have at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Factory Manager in day‑to‑day operational management to maximize effectiveness and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop detailed production plans and generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of key departments including PPIC, Warehouse, Quality Control (QC), Maintenance, and Security.
- Supervise the entire production workflow—from initial scheduling to final output—ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and quality standards.
- Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and uphold the company’s quality control criteria throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, and Human Resources to guarantee seamless operational continuity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify operational bottlenecks, and propose actionable improvement initiatives.
- Act as the Factory Manager’s delegate during absences, maintaining full authority over plant activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Strong grasp of production systems, operational management, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to create production schedules, conduct efficiency analyses, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership qualities with a proven record of motivating multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced problem‑solving skills and the capacity to make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
- Technical familiarity with electrical systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
