Introduction

We are seeking a passionate Baker Professional – Artisan Bread & Donut Specialist to join our dynamic bakery team. This role is perfect for individuals who love the art of baking, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Our bakery prides itself on delivering high‑quality, innovative products such as Ube‑infused donuts and traditional artisan breads to a growing customer base.

As an essential member of our production floor, you will work alongside experienced pastry chefs, contributing your expertise to maintain our reputation for excellence while continuously improving processes and product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mix, and proof doughs for a variety of bakery items, ensuring consistency in texture and flavor.
  • Produce and fry premium Ube donuts, monitoring temperature and timing to achieve the ideal crust and crumb.
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards in all work areas, conducting regular sanitation checks and adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, perform daily stock checks, and coordinate with the purchasing team to prevent shortages.
  • Execute daily production schedules, meet output targets, and adapt to shift changes as required.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop new recipes, test flavor variations, and contribute ideas for seasonal promotions.
  • Document production logs, record any deviations, and suggest corrective actions to improve quality.
  • Train junior staff on dough handling, proofing techniques, and proper frying methods.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, providing feedback on workflow efficiencies and customer trends.

Requirements

  • Male or female candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
  • Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a bakery or pastry environment.
  • Strong understanding of dough formulation, proofing processes, and deep‑fat frying techniques.
  • High attention to detail, quick execution, and a commitment to maintaining a spotless work station.
  • Ability to work under production targets and flexible shift schedules (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Disciplined, honest, and a proven team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Educational background: at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Creative mindset for innovative cake and pastry designs, especially in specialty flavors such as Ube.
