Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency, flavor balance, and presentation standards.
- Maintain knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods to educate customers and suggest pairings.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory of beans, syrups, milk alternatives, and other supplies; place orders when stock runs low.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation, adhering to food safety regulations and health codes.
- Handle cash register transactions, process digital payments, and accurately reconcile daily sales.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and personalized service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any concerns.
- Collaborate with teammates during busy periods, supporting shift leads and ensuring smooth operations.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, seasonal drinks, and industry trends.
- Uphold the café’s brand image by presenting a professional appearance and demonstrating a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or equivalent).
- Gender: Female (as per company policy).
- Prior experience as a barista is preferred, but enthusiastic beginners with a strong willingness to learn are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Disciplined, punctual, and responsible attitude toward shift schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and night shifts.
