Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Pengawas Lapangan Proyek Konstruksi (Construction Site Supervisor) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily field operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a diverse crew of workers, liaise with project stakeholders, and contribute to the successful delivery of high‑value industrial and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit daily attendance reports, ensuring accurate tracking of labor hours and overtime.
- Compile “soft” reports (e.g., site condition updates, material usage summaries) for internal review.
- Coordinate temporary employment contracts (PKWT) and manage documentation related to workforce allocation.
- Generate comprehensive monthly performance reports that include productivity metrics, safety incidents, and budget variance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and internal users, acting as the primary point of contact on‑site.
- Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks to align workers with safety protocols, project milestones, and quality expectations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with K3 (occupational health and safety) standards, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project specifications and timelines.
- Identify and resolve on‑site challenges, such as material shortages, equipment breakdowns, or scheduling conflicts, by coordinating with the project management office.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in post‑project reviews.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 degree in any discipline; preference given to graduates of Industrial Engineering or Management.
- Gender: Male candidates only.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Certifications: Preferably holds a General K3 (occupational safety) certificate.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, team‑building aptitude, problem‑solving mindset, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing crews, delegating tasks, and motivating staff to achieve production targets.
- Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, with occasional overtime during critical project phases.
