We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Barista to join our fast‑growing coffee and tea boutique. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station, including regular equipment cleaning, coffee grinder calibration, and espresso machine maintenance.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, provide product recommendations, and address any questions or concerns promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up the beverage station, restocking pastries, and completing end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow and timely delivery of food items.
- Uphold health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper storage temperatures and allergen awareness.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Contribute ideas for menu improvements, seasonal promotions, and community events that enhance the café’s brand presence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: 28 years maximum.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- At least 6 months of experience in a barista or kitchen staff role, preferably within a high‑volume café environment.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Professional appearance: neat, well‑groomed, and presentable at all times.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work a fixed schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and adapt to occasional peak‑hour demands.
