Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks, ensuring consistency, taste, and visual appeal.
- Calibrate espresso machines daily, adjusting grind size, dose, temperature, and pressure to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health‑code regulations and company hygiene policies.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; notify management of low stock levels.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Handle cash transactions, process orders through the POS system, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, especially the 15:00‑23:00 shift.
- Participate in regular training sessions, barista competitions, and community events to stay current with industry trends.
- Assist in creating seasonal menu items and promotional beverages that align with brand identity.
- Offer courteous and timely service, addressing customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred background in culinary arts, hospitality, or completion of a recognized barista course.
- Demonstrated ability to calibrate espresso machines and pull consistent shots.
- Strong work ethic characterized by honesty, discipline, agility, and responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for effective teamwork.
- Flexibility to work full‑time shifts from 15:00 to 23:00, with the overall work week running Monday to Saturday (08:00‑17:00).
