Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Bidan Profesional with a solid foundation in midwifery to join our dynamic maternal‑health team. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of mothers and newborns while working in a supportive, modern healthcare environment. The successful candidate will operate Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care in both hospital and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough prenatal assessments, including health history, physical examinations, and routine laboratory testing.
- Develop individualized birth plans in collaboration with expecting mothers, their families, and obstetric physicians.
- Assist physicians and senior midwives during normal and assisted deliveries, ensuring a safe and respectful birthing experience.
- Provide immediate postpartum care, monitor maternal vital signs, support breastfeeding initiation, and educate families on newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with national health regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in emergency obstetric interventions, such as managing postpartum hemorrhage and neonatal resuscitation, following established protocols.
- Offer health education workshops on nutrition, family planning, and prenatal wellness to community groups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and social workers—to deliver holistic patient care.
- Stay current with the latest evidence‑based practices in midwifery through continuous professional development.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects aimed at reducing maternal and infant morbidity rates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Midwifery (Kebidanan).
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) for midwives.
- Prior experience in a clinical or community midwifery setting is highly preferred, though recent graduates with strong internships are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex medical information in layman’s terms.
- High degree of honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and handle high‑stress situations with composure.
