Introduction
Amartha, a leading fintech platform dedicated to empowering micro‑entrepreneurs in Indonesia, is expanding its field team in Pasuruan. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join us as Business Partner (Petugas Lapangan). In this role you will act as the bridge between Amartha’s financing programs and small‑business owners (UMKM), helping them access capital, improve operations, and grow sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and recruit new UMKM partners to participate in Amartha’s financing services.
- Conduct on‑site feasibility surveys, evaluate business viability, and prepare comprehensive recommendations for the credit committee.
- Organize and lead informational meetings, provide ongoing economic and business mentorship, and cultivate long‑term relationships with partner‑owners, especially women entrepreneurs.
- Manage collection activities, ensuring timely repayment of loan installments from group members or individual borrowers.
- Monitor field operations to guarantee strict compliance with Amartha’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Document field findings, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and report key performance indicators to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, risk, and customer support—to continuously improve the partner experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑32 years (must possess a valid KTP).
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career‑switchers are encouraged to apply.
- Own a motorcycle with a valid SIM C for field mobility.
- Strong communication skills, high integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple client interactions daily.
- Basic understanding of customer needs, effective customer communication, and a keen interest in the technology‑driven financial sector.
